The Role

n

We're looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement and maintain secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.

n

You'll work across cloud infrastructure, automation, networking, security and operational support, partnering with engineering, operations and security teams to improve the reliability and performance of cloud environments.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
n
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
n
- Develop automation using Python, Bash and/or PowerShell.
n
- Implement cloud security best practices, access controls and governance.
n
- Manage and troubleshoot cloud networking, including VPNs, load balancing, firewalls and security groups.
n
- Monitor infrastructure performance, reliability and cost.
n
- Support disaster recovery, backup and business continuity requirements.
n
- Work with development, operations and security teams to integrate cloud solutions.
n




- Maintain technical documentation covering cloud architecture, configurations and processes.
n
- Participate in occasional out-of-hours support for technology changes.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Strong commercial experience across AWS and Azure.
n
- Hands-on cloud infrastructure design, deployment and operational experience.
n
- Robust Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar.
n
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
n
- Strong understanding of cloud networking and security.
n
- Experience with cloud storage and infrastructure services.
n
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash and/or PowerShell.
n
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus or Azure Monitor.
n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
n
- Good communication skills and the ability to work across technical teams.
n

Nice to Have

- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
n
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
