Position Summary

CoastalRespiratory & Sleep is a specialist respiratory and sleep medicine practicewith clinics in Benowa, Tugun and Pimpama. We're looking for a respiratoryscientist to run lung function testing and home sleep study set-ups at ourBenowa clinic on a part time basis.

Responsibilities

- Lung function testing for patients referred by our physicians and external doctors
- Fitting and instructing patients for home sleep studies
- Reporting results and filing them to the patient's electronic record
- Daily calibration and quality control, and keeping equipment clean and infection-safe
- Sorting out equipment and software issues when they come up




- Keeping the lab stocked and handling the paperwork that goes with it
- Working closely with our physicians, reception team and patients, with confidentiality a given

Requirements

- Previous experience in respiratory or sleep testing is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with computers and clinical software
- Warm with patients and able to put people at ease quickly
- Happy to adapt as the day changes

Salary and Benefits

- Hourly rate dependent on qualifications and experience
- Annual and personal leave in line with the applicable award, pro rata
