About the role

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will contribute to an engaging and contemporary curriculum that includes experiences such asbush play, movement and creative learning.

You will work collaboratively with children, families, colleagues and external services to provide meaningful and appropriately tailored learning experiences that support each child's development.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Engaging with children through meaningful interactions, activities and group experiences.
- Supporting children to develop functional play skills, confidence and learning.
- Maintaining active supervision of children across all environments.
- Supporting daily routines, including cleaning and cooking experiences with children.
- Developing portfolios and documenting children's learning and development.
- Contributing to curriculum planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Participating in team meetings, critical reflection and continuous improvement activities.
- Building positive and respectful partnerships with families,



colleagues and external professionals.
- Supporting communication about children's development with families and, where appropriate, schools and allied professionals.
- Promoting an inclusive program that reflects theRights of the Child, the service philosophy and theECA Code of Ethics.
- Undertaking required safety training and contributing to a strong culture of safety across the service.

About you

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality education and care.

You will be someone who:

- Is passionate about supporting children to learn, develop and thrive.
- Demonstrates solid communication and teamwork skills.
- Is committed to inclusive practice and positive outcomes for every child.
- Is willing to engage in innovative practices within a contemporary early childhood setting.
- Builds respectful and collaborative relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of the service.
- Is committed to ongoing professional development, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Understands the importance of child safety and is willing to undertake all required safety training.

Completion of Diploma of Children's Services; Associate Diploma Social Studies (Child Care); Certificate Child Care Studies; Child Care Certificate; Certificate III - Child Studies; or other recognised relevant qualification in similar educational and child related disciplines eg. primary teaching, psychology, social welfare which are inclusive of child development and communication or working towards any of these qualifications.

Current NSW Department of Education and Communities approved child protection and First Aid qualifications
