Position: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Architect
n We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Architect to design and deliver scalable eCommerce solutions for our clients/business. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‐on SFCC experience along with the ability to lead technical architecture, integrations, and solution design. Exposure to Agentic Commerce, Adobe Commerce/AEM, or Sitecore will be an advantage.
n Key Responsibilities

n

- Design and define end‐to‐end eCommerce solutions and technical architecture using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).
n
- Provide technical leadership across SFRA/SiteGenesis, storefront development, integrations, and customisation.
n
- Design and oversee integrations between SFCC and OMS, ERP, PIM, payment gateways, CDP, and other third‐party systems using SCAPI/OCAPI and REST/SOAP APIs.
n
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable SFCC solutions.
n
- Guide development teams on architecture, coding standards, best practices, and technical decisions.
n
- Contribute to headless and composable commerce solutions where required.
n
- Provide technical guidance on Agentic Commerce, including AI shopping assistants, conversational commerce, and AI‐driven commerce experiences.
n
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Product, UX, QA, and other technical teams to deliver solutions.
n




- Review solutions and code to ensure performance, scalability, security, and quality.
n
- Support production issues, technical troubleshooting, and continuous platform optimisation.
n
- Stay current with emerging eCommerce, Salesforce, and AI/Agentic Commerce technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

n

n
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).
n
- Strong knowledge of SFRA, JavaScript, ISML, SCSS/LESS, and Node.js.
n
- Solid experience with OCAPI/SCAPI, REST/SOAP APIs, and third‐party integrations.
n
- Good understanding of eCommerce processes including catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order management.
n
- Experience designing scalable and high‐performing eCommerce solutions.
n
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
n
- Ability to provide technical leadership and work with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
n
- Strong communication, problem‐solving, and solution‐design skills.
n

Preferred / Nice‐to‐have

- Exposure to Agentic Commerce / AI‐driven commerce.
n
- Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento), AEM, or Sitecore.
n
- Knowledge of headless/composable commerce and MACH architecture.
n
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications.
n
- Experience with PWA Kit / React‐based storefronts.
n
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP and DevOps practices.
