We are currently partnering with a leading national law firm seeking to grow its highly regarded Cyber practice due to a sustained increase in workflow and a strong pipeline of matters.

n

The team advises insurers, government entities, multinational corporations and listed organisations on some of Australia's most complex cyber incidents, data breaches, regulatory investigations and coverage disputes.

The Opportunityn

This is a unique opportunity to join a specialist practice at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing areas of law. The team is involved in high-profile cyber incidents from the moment a breach occurs, working closely with insurers, forensic experts, crisis management consultants, IT security specialists and clients to navigate legal, regulatory and commercial risk.

You will gain exposure to:

- Cyber incident response and data breach management

- Privacy and information security advice
n
- Regulatory investigations involving APRA, ASIC and the OAIC
n
- Coverage disputes across cyber, professional indemnity, D&O; and financial lines policies
n
- Complex insurance litigation and commercial disputes
n
- Class action defence arising from cyber and privacy incidents
n
- Policy interpretation and indemnity advice
n
- Emerging technology,



privacy and cybersecurity risks

The team is open to candidates from insurance litigation, commercial litigation, regulatory, disputes, professional indemnity, financial lines, medical negligence or broader defendant insurance backgrounds.

n

Previous cyber experience is not required.

n
