Our Content Studio is growing, and we're looking for a Junior Designer with a strong eye for layout, a genuine curiosity for creative work and the confidence to bring their own thinking to the table.

This isn't a role for someone who simply waits for instructions and opens a template.

We want someone who reads a brief, understands what it is trying to achieve and starts forming a point of view on how the work should look and behave before they even open a file.

If you've ever opened someone else's presentation and quietly thought, "I could make this so much better", this might be the role for you.

The opportunity

As our Junior Designer , you'll sit within Thrive's Content Studio and work across a broad range of clients and creative projects.

A significant part of the role will focus on pitch deck and document design, transforming strategy documents, dense copy and client input into visually engaging, clear and beautifully structured presentations.

You'll also work across social assets, digital collateral, content creation and wider studio projects.

This is a brilliant chance for someone early in their design career who wants exposure to major brands, experienced creative leaders and a broad range of disciplines including content creation, social, influencer and art direction.

What you'll be doing

Your work will broadly include:

- Transforming raw strategy documents, dense copy and client input into clear, visually engaging presentations
- Designing pitch decks and documents primarily in Google Slides and Google Docs
- Creating layouts with strong hierarchy, pacing and storytelling
- Working within client brand guidelines while identifying opportunities to elevate the creative output
- Building and maintaining templates, master slides and reusable design components




- Collaborating with wider agency teams on fast-turnaround pitches and projects
- Bringing creative recommendations to briefs rather than simply executing instructions

Graphic design and social content

- Designing social statics, carousels and digital assets
- Creating client collateral, posters and broader brand applications
- Keeping up with design, content and platform trends and bringing new ideas back to the team

Content creation and studio support

- Supporting content rollout, including short-form edits and photo grading
- Assisting with shoots, influencer projects and creative concepting
- Supporting new business and internal Thrive projects
- Developing your skills across the wider capabilities of Thrive's Content Studio

What we're looking for

You’ll ideally have recently graduated or have up to approximately 1.5 years of full-time experience in a design role.

More importantly, we're looking for someone who has genuine creative curiosity and a strong portfolio.

You’ll be someone who:

- Can look at a wall of client copy and immediately start seeing the structure hiding within it
- Brings design thinking and creative recommendations to every brief
- Can articulate the reasoning behind a design decision, not just show the finished result
- Has a strong eye for layout, hierarchy and detail
- Collects references, analyzes creative work and is developing a genuine design point of view
- Can manage multiple projects and changing priorities without losing attention to detail
- Thinks critically and proactively about the bigger picture behind a brief
- Is curious, adaptable and eager to learn new tools and techniques
- Is comfortable working at pace and responding to tight deadlines
- Has a strong work ethic,



great energy and a genuine desire to develop

Your toolkit

You’ll have experience using:

- Google Slides, Docs and Sheets
- Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro
- Canva and Figma
- AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini

Experience with After Effects would be a bonus.

We're also looking for someone who understands how to use AI tools to improve and accelerate the creative process, whether that's image generation, asset variations, document drafting, upscaling or presentation development, while still having the creative judgement to know when something isn't good enough to ship.

You don't need to know everything. We love self-starters who aren't afraid to jump into a tutorial, experiment with a new tool and figure things out.
