About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is seeking a dedicated, organised and dynamic Receptionist to join our team. Playing an incredibly vital role, you will be the first point of contact for the wider school community whilst providing additional administration services as required

This is a term-time position under a full time maximum term contract arrangement, that will run from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027

Key Responsibilities

- Ability to create a professional and welcoming first point of contact service, by handling phone calls, visitor sign ins, parent enquiries, email services and reception operations
- Utilise your excellent administrative skills by providing backup secretarial support
- Manage visitors book and contractor sign in, including key registers
- Oversee the maintenance of phone and staff lists
- Deliver additional administrative assistance across the College, including stationery procurement, bulk emails, service call coordination, and portal updates.

What You Bring

- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a front desk or Receptionist position; and/or Certificate III in Business Administration or similar discipline, would be an advantage
- Possess strong communication skills - both oral and written with the ability to relate well on phone and in person with parents, students and employees across all levels of the College




- Demonstrated computer skills in all Microsoft applications and database experience in updating and retrieving data for reports
- Confident in using your strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
- Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values.
