Job Description

We are seeking caring, reliable, and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our team.

n

In this role, you will:

- Due to the importance of consistency for the people we support, we are particularly interested in applicants who can demonstrate a genuine intention to remain in the disability sector long term and who understand the value of building trusted, lasting relationships with participants and their families.

- Support participants in achieving their personal goals and living life on their terms.
n
- Assist individuals to access their community and take part in activities they enjoy.
n
- Encourage the development of new skills, confidence, and independence.
n
- Deliver person-centred, respectful, and empowering support tailored to each participant's unique needs.
n
- Be part of a supportive and values-driven team that genuinely cares for both participants and staff.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will bring:

n

- Strong communication and person-centred care skills.
n
- Experience working within the disability sector or lived experience.
n
- NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain).
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to obtain).
n
- First Aid Certificate / CPR (HLTAID011). (or willing to obtain).
n
- Australian Working Rights.
n
- Working With Children Check
n
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months).
n
- Driver's Licence.
n
- Willingness to travel within a 30-minute radius across the North Perth Area.
n
- Shift times vary depending on client needs, typically falling between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.
