About the Role
n
Our client is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join their execution team for ongoing work, with FIFO roles ex Perth and DIDO roles ex Karratha.
n
This Technically Challenging Work Will See You Supervising Small Crews Performing New Installations And Major Component Change-outs Across Mining Equipment, Including
n
n
- Balance Machines - Reclaimers, Stackers and Ship Loaders
n
- Crushers - Jaw, Gyro and Cone
n
- Trunnions
n
- Gearboxes
n
- Apron Feeders
n
- Fixed Plant Components
n
n

About You
n
The Successful Candidate Will Be Able To Demonstrate
n
n
- Minimum 2 years' leadership experience in shutdowns as a Leading Hand or Supervisor
n
- Schedule 26 DMEIRS Certification, including BSBWHS414 and BSBWHS411
n
- Strong commitment to health and safety
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- An Australian-recognised trade certificate
n
n
Current and Valid Tickets / Licences
n
n
- Driver's Licence
n
- Working at Heights
n
- Confined Space
n
- Basic Fire
n
- White Card
n
- High Risk EWP
n
- Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain
n
n
Additional Requirements
n
n
- Must be a permanent resident of Western Australia
n
- Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, including regular drug and alcohol screening
n
- Rio Tinto and Hancock Iron Ore inductions are highly desirable
n
