About the role:
n
Play a key role in delivering site-based education and training to ensure our staff provide safe, high-quality and person-centred care. Working closely with the Education, Infection Prevention and Control Manager (Aged Care), you will identify learning needs, design competency-based programs and foster a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence across our residential and community care settings.

Based in Brisbane, you will play a key role in supporting our services across Queensland, with regular travel to deliver onsite training, education and support where required.

Your day-to-day will involve:
n
n
- Designing and delivering comprehensive education and orientation programs for our aged care staff
n
- Facilitating onboarding, workshops and hands-on clinical training to build workforce capability
n
- Supporting clinical practice through mentoring, coaching and reflective learning
n
- Collaborating with managers to identify learning gaps and implement targeted education solutions
n
- Promoting evidence-based practice across areas such as medication management, wound care, dementia care, and palliative care
n
- Conducting competency assessments and maintaining education and compliance records
n
- Supporting accreditation and quality improvement initiatives
n
- Embedding learning into everyday practice to ensure exceptional individual care and outcomes

About you:
n
You're an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys sharing your knowledge and helping others build their confidence and capability. With strong clinical expertise and a natural ability to connect with people, you can engage and influence staff at all levels. You're collaborative, approachable and lead by example, creating a positive learning environment where people feel supported to grow. You bring a balance of clinical excellence, compassion and professionalism, with a genuine commitment to improving practice and delivering quality care.

To be successful, you will have:
n
n
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in aged care or a related healthcare environment
n
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective education and competency programs
n
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance frameworks
n
- Excellent interpersonal, mentoring and leadership skills
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Australian driver's licence.
n
