Based at the City’s Works Depot in Crocker Street, Rockingham,you will assist the Parks Services team in undertaking hands onmaintenance of the City’s natural areas and conservation reserves.This role requires the ability to identify weeds, pests anddiseases within natural areas and undertake appropriate controlmeasures and re-vegetation activities.

You are a proactive team player, enjoy working outdoors and havea keen interest in protecting the environment.

To be considered for this role, you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:

- Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management, orequivalent field experience in environmental science or naturalarea management
- Operate and Maintain Chainsaw certificate obtained throughan accredited service provider




- Chemical Application (herbicide use) certificate obtainedthrough an accredited service provider
- Construction Induction Training (White Card)

This position offers a weeklywage of $1,466 (gross) which incorporates all allowances andpenalty rates, as well as:

- 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to afurther 5%
- A variety of health and wellbeing programs including aphysical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $200 perannum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mentalhealth programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP)services
