About the Role
Lead the delivery of safe, reliable and sustainable transport services that keep the Sunshine Coast moving. In this key leadership role, you'll oversee the management and performance of critical transport infrastructure assets, ensuring our road, active transport and parking networks continue to meet the needs of a growing community.
Drive innovation, operational excellence and long-term asset sustainability. Leading a multidisciplinary team, you'll shape the future of transport through smart asset management, strategic decision-making and customer-focused solutions that enhance safety, accessibility and network performance across the region
- Lead a high-performing team delivering critical transport services across one of Australia's fastest-growing regions.
- Drive the performance, safety and reliability of the Sunshine Coast's road, active transport and parking networks.
- Provide strategic leadership across traffic engineering, intelligent transport systems, electrical assets and network operations.
- Champion innovation and smart technology solutions that enhance community safety, accessibility and mobility.
- Influence major transport initiatives, asset investment decisions and continuous improvement programs that shape the future of the region.
- Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team while fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
About you
A confident and forward-thinking leader, you'll combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to shape the future of transport on the Sunshine Coast.
- Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven leadership experience delivering transport operations, infrastructure asset management or technical services.
- Strong expertise in traffic engineering, road safety and transport network operations.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving high-performance outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and provide trusted technical advice.
- RPEQ registration will be highly regarded.
