About the opportunity
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join Health 2 You as a contractor.
This is a flexible opportunity for an OT who is looking for a mixed caseload, mobile work and access to a clinic base in South Morang. You will have the opportunity to discuss your preferred working days, service areas and balance between mobile and clinic-based work.
The contractor arrangement includes:
High earning potential with up to $110 per hour
Mobile work across Melbourne, with access to the South Morang clinic
Administration support with referrals, bookings and client coordination
Support from H2Y leadership and a multidisciplinary team

What you will do
As an Occupational Therapist, you may provide services across home, community and clinic settings.
Your work may include:
Conducting functional assessments
Delivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions
Supporting clients to achieve greater independence and participate in everyday activities
Providing education and coaching to clients, families and carers
Collaborating with other allied health professionals
Maintaining clear and timely clinical records and reports
Participating in case discussions and team meetings where appropriate
Supervision or mentoring opportunities such as working with an Allied Health Assistant
About you:
Be passionate for enhancing the skills and independence of clients with disabilities.
Have outstanding assessment and evidence-based Occupational Therapy intervention skills.
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent with full AHPRA registration
A valid, unrestricted driver’s licence & reliable access to a registered, fully insured vehicle for community visits
You hold (or are willing to obtain) a police check, Working with Children Check (WWCC), & professional indemnity insurance
You have excellent communication skills & an ability to work collaboratively in a team.
An open-minded attitude, as well as a adaptable & approachable manner
The ability to think outside the box and use initiative to solve problems and improve services.
Experience in the NDIS/disability sector will be highly regarded.
