Technical Workforce Planning Analyst

DWS is seeking an experienced Technical Workforce Planning Analyst to join a major Australian retail-focused workforce planning program. This opportunity is ideal for a Business Analyst with strong workforce planning expertise who can translate complex Award and Enterprise Agreement requirements into actionable business and system outcomes. You will work closely with workforce planning specialists to support compliance initiatives, award updates, process improvements, and delivery activities across a large-scale environment.

Type: ACN Contractor or Max Term

Start: ASAP

Length: 6+ months

Style: Hybrid; 3+ days onsite

Salary: Up to $675/day (ACN) or up to $160K (inc super) Max Term

Key requirements include:

- Highly experience with UKG or Kronos platforms
- Demonstrated capability interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements, including pay rules, penalty rates, allowances, and rostering constraints
- Robust workforce planning domain experience across rostering, labour scheduling, demand forecasting, and workforce optimisation
- Ability to translate compliance and industrial relations requirements into business requirements and system logic
- Significant experience with process mapping, including current and future state analysis
- Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and business analysis capabilities
- Experience supporting compliance initiatives, award updates, estimation activities, and project delivery outcomes




- Experience within retail or environments governed by the General Retail Industry Award will be advantageous

Responsibilities include:

- Interpret workforce compliance and industrial instrument changes and assess impacts
- Support implementation of Award and Enterprise Agreement updates across systems and processes
- Contribute to effort estimation and planning activities for workforce-related initiatives
- Document business requirements, user stories, and process improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders and workforce planning teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
