- Develop environmental impact assessments, approval applications, other studies, and management plans
- Provide input, advice, and expertise on environmental and planning matters within infrastructure planning and design project teams
- Develop technical solutions to improve environmental and sustainability outcomes
- Contribute to proposals and bids for securing new and ongoing work
- Apply relevant Commonwealth, State, and Local legislation, policies, and guidelines
- Produce high-quality professional reports and deliverables
- Complete desk-based and field technical project work
- Develop and oversee implementation of post-approval environmental management plans
- Provide environmental advice
- Review, prepare, and implement Environmental Management Plans
- Deliver environmental monitoring programs
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Planning or similar
- Minimum 6+ years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in gaining workplace approvals and statutory approvals for projects in Queensland
- Experience working within a consultancy environment (preferred)
- Proven project management and client relationship management capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed report writing skills
- Experience working with government clients (preferred)
