Job Description

Followmont Transport is seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join our Sydney team. This hands‐on operational role is responsible for coordinating drivers, fleet and resources to ensure safe, productive and reliable service delivery across our network.

Working in a fast‐paced transport environment, you'll oversee daily operations, manage schedules, monitor compliance requirements and support our drivers to achieve exceptional customer outcomes.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Coordinate drivers, fleet and resources to ensure smooth daily operations
n
- Manage schedules, route planning and resource allocation
n
- Monitor operational KPI's, costs and performance using Excel and reporting tools
n
- Maintain compliance with transport regulations, safety requirements and company procedures
n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including RF scanning and pallet control processes
n
- Lead by example and promote a culture of accountability, safety and service excellence
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in transport, logistics or fleet operations
n




- Strong working knowledge of Excel and reporting tools
n
- Excellent planning, time management and problem‐solving skills
n
- Understanding of transport compliance, Chain of Responsibility and operational requirements
n
- Knowledge of dangerous goods segregation and equipment configurations highly regarded
n
- Strong leadership and communication skills
n
- Good understanding of the Sydney and NSW transport network
