An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Associate to join the Dispute Resolution team of this market leading firm.

The Opportunityn

Our client has an chance for a senior SA to join their highly regarded disputes practice handling a mixture of insolvency, corporate, regulatory and commercial litigation. You will work closely with a senior partner in the firm dealing with a broad range of clients across

n

banks, private credit funds, insolvency practitioners, corporates and directors.

n

This is the pre-eminent disputes focussed firm in Sydney.

Key Responsibilitiesn

n
- Advising on corporate insolvency and restructuring matters, including voluntary administrations, liquidations and receiverships;
n
- Acting for secured and unsecured creditors, insolvency practitioners and company directors;
n
- Providing strategic advice on distressed debt,



workouts and turnaround scenarios;
n
- Supporting corporate transactions with an insolvency or special situations overlay;
n
- running broad corporate, commercial and regulatory disputes; and
n
- Managing matters with a high degree of autonomy while mentoring junior lawyers.
n

Ideal Candidaten n
- At least 8 years' PQE with a leading law firm or reputable boutique with in depth dispute resolution experience across insolvency, and related disputes.
n
- Commercially minded with strong technical and analytical skills
n
- Ability to manage client relationships and run matters end-to-end
n
- A collaborative approach and desire to contribute to a close-knit team
n
