You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.Reporting to the Team Leader, the main purpose of this role is to implement a pro-active, specialised approach to the management of whole person impairment (WPI) and provide technical guidance in relation to the strategic management of WPI claims. You will be managing the end-to-end determination of WPI claims for IfNSW agencies in accordance with applicable guidelines, procedures and timeframesThis will be a full time, permanent position based in the Sydney or Tweed Heads office, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESManage permanent impairment claims within set targets and KPIs for IfNSW agenciesDeliver permanent impairment claim outcomes in line with Quality Measures and legislative requirements.Provide legal and technical support to strategically manage disputes and litigation in WPI claimsAttend teleconferences,



conciliation and arbitration hearings as requiredDemonstrate effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as measured by feedback from key stakeholders and outcomes on claimsSupport relationships with external legal providers and clients connected to the IfNSW business unitABOUT YOUExcellent understanding of the NSW Workers compensation legislation and the associated regulationsStrong communication, attention to detail and time management skills are essential for this roleUnderstanding of permanent impairment benefits and an understanding of dispute determination in the Personal Injury CommissionAt least 12 months experience in claims managementWHAT WE OFFERWe stand together as equals.
