About the Role

Accredited training opportunity for a Phase 1 or Phase 2 ICU trainee in a leading regional hospital. The role includes 6 months of accredited core ICU training and 6 months of accredited anaesthetics training. You will provide high-quality care to critically ill and perioperative patients while working alongside experienced consultants in a supportive multidisciplinary team. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, diagnose and manage ICU and perioperative patients under supervision
- Participate in ICU and anaesthetic service delivery
- Conduct clinical handovers and coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Complete pre-admission and perioperative assessments
- Participate in teaching, education, audits and research
- Join the on‑call roster

Essential Criteria

- MBBS or equivalent
- AHPRA registration or eligibility
- Ideally CICM Phase 1 or 2 trainee
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
