About the role
We are seeking a motivated Paediatric Registrar to join our team
This is a full time role, primarily community based
- Exposure to variety of clinics including preschool developmental, immigrant health, Indigenous health, out of home care and general paediatrics
- Dedicated teaching and non-clinical time each week
- No evening or night shifts. After hours responsibility limited to 1 x weekend shift ) ~ every 4 weeks
Key responsibilities
- Deliver supervised clinical care in outpatient and clinic settings, including assessment, investigation, management, and discharge planning
- Participate in paediatric clinics, including triage, care coordination, and liaison with community healthcare providers
- Support continuity of care through referral management and collaboration with multidisciplinary and external teams
- Provide clinical input for acute presentations and attend emergency or inpatient reviews as required
What we’re looking for
- Registered Medical Practitioner in Australia
- Strong capability in outpatient and ambulatory paediatric care (best suited for advanced trainees in paediatrics)
- Effective communication and teamwork skills across multidisciplinary and community settings
- Commitment to high-quality clinical care, patient safety, and professional standards
