Our client is a well-established hotel chain is looking for General Hospitality Staff with great customer service skills to join their hotel.

n

We have multiple allrounder hospitality positions covering the following duties:

n

n
- taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
n
- setting and arranging tables
n
- taking food and beverage orders
n
- serving food and beverages
n
- recommend wine and drinks to complement food
n
- opening bottles and pouring beverages
n
- conducting wine, beer, and spirit tastings
n
- preparing, serving and selling cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, canned and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a variety of coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso-based beverages
n
- selecting and grinding coffee
n
- clearing bars and tables and returning dishes, glasses and cutlery to kitchen
n
- removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables and bars
n
- cleaning and maintaining bar service areas, coffee-making areas and espresso machines
n
- washing glassware and arranging bottles and glasses
n
- tapping kegs and attaching supply lines, replenishing drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators
n




- collecting payments for sales and operating EFTPOS and cash registers
n
- promoting services and products
n
- stacking and displaying goods for sale
n
- preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials
n

ABOUT YOU:

n

n
- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality at certificate II or above with at least 1 year of experience; or have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
n
- Enthusiasm, tenacity, attention to details and a positive, engaging approach to providing high-quality service
n
- Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP, as required
n
- Practice proper workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Comply with relevant regulations
n
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required within a rotating roster
n
- Well presented, punctual and reliable
n
- Ability to keep your section clean and organized with a positive understanding of workflow and structure
n
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
n
- A passion for quality food and produce, and service
n
- Current RSA and Police clearance
n

Salary range $65,000-$ 75,000 per annum + superannuation

n
