Join the Team

As a Digital Health Analyst in our Orders team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of electronic ordering capabilities within the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program, one of the largest digital health transformations in Australia.

The Orders Team

The Orders Team is responsible for enabling clinicians to electronically request medications, pathology, imaging, procedures and other clinical services through a single statewide digital health platform. Working alongside clinicians, health services and technical specialists across NSW Health, you’ll help translate frontline healthcare requirements into safe, practical and standardised digital workflows that support better patient care and clinical decision-making.

This role offers the unique ability to contribute to the statewide implementation of SDPR’s electronic ordering capabilities,



working with Epic and other digital health technologies to help design and implement workflows for medications, pathology, imaging, procedures and other clinical services. You’ll work closely with clinicians, health services and technical teams to turn real-world healthcare needs into digital solutions that support safer, more connected and consistent care across NSW.

If you have experience in configuring workflows and translating business requirements for Medication Management, Medical Imaging or Medical workflows in electronic systems we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you will:

- Apply your understanding of healthcare processes and workflows to support the design and configuration of digital health solutions.
- Collaborate with clinicians and stakeholders to understand requirements, document processes and translate business needs into practical system solutions.
- Support workflow design, system configuration and documentation activities in collaboration with project, clinical and technical teams.
- Participate in testing activities, including configuration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue identification and resolution.
- Contribute to implementation activities, stakeholder consultation and the development of business, process and support documentation.

About You

To be successful in this role you’ll need

- Tertiary qualification in Health such as Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health or Health Information Management,



and/or extensive experience working in a public healthcare setting.
- An understanding of healthcare processes , clinical workflows and models of care, with the ability to apply this knowledge to digital health solutions.
- Experience in digital health , business analysis, system implementation, configuration, testing or process improvement, ideally within a healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clinicians, healthcare teams and technical stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and contribute effectively within a complex and changing environment.
