Our client, a leading specialist accounting and insolvency firm, is seeking a Manager to join their Melbourne team. The firm provides expert support to individuals and businesses through personal and corporate insolvency, forensic investigations, asset recovery, and expert witness work.
This role is ideal for a technically strong insolvency professional with experience managing files end-to-end and leading junior staff. You will work closely with a Principal to oversee corporate insolvency engagements, deliver high-quality service to stakeholders, and contribute to team growth and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Voluntary Administrations, Liquidations, Receiverships, and restructurings.
- Oversee compliance, reporting, and creditor communications.
- Conduct financial analysis,
stakeholder interviews, and prepare insolvency reports.
- Lead and mentor junior team members.
- Liaise with directors, solicitors, lenders, and regulators.
- Support partners with business development and practice initiatives.
About You:
- 4–8+ years in insolvency, restructuring, or turnaround advisory.
- Robust knowledge of the Corporations Act and insolvency legislation.
- Proven file management and staff supervision experience.
- Excellent communication, financial analysis, and report-writing skills.
- ARITA qualifications and CA/CPA preferred.
