Are you an experienced building designer who enjoys leading people, building robust client relationships and making things happen?

Sfeer is looking for a vibrant, proactive Building Design Manager to lead our small team of talented designers and become the face of our growing business.

n

Based in Richmond, SA, Sfeer provides high-quality building design and consulting services across a diverse mix of commercial and residential projects. We pride ourselves on delivering clever, practical design solutions and an exceptional experience for our clients.

n

This isn't a role where you'll spend every day behind a desk. You'll lead the team, meet with clients, visit sites, manage projects, create new opportunities and still stay involved in design work yourself.

What you'll be doing

n

Leading, supporting and inspiring a small team of building designers.

n

Allocating projects and managing workloads, priorities and deadlines.

n

Delivering building design and drafting services across commercial and residential projects.

n

Meeting with clients and acting as a professional, engaging face of Sfeer.

n

Building strong relationships with existing clients and developing new ones.

n

Identifying and converting suitable project opportunities.

n

Conducting site visits, inspections and building audits, with training provided where required.

n

Maintaining high standards of design, documentation and quality control.

n

Ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.

n

Helping strengthen Sfeer's brand, reputation and future growth.

Who we're looking for

n

You'll be a confident, energetic and organised person who can bring people together, solve problems and keep projects moving.

n

Ideally,



you will have:

n

At least five years' experience in building design or drafting across residential and commercial projects.

n

A Certificate IV in Building Design or another relevant architecture or design qualification.

n

Experience leading, mentoring or coordinating a small team.

n

The ability to manage multiple small to medium-sized projects at the same time.

n

Confidence attending sites, inspecting projects and understanding what is required.

n

Strong Revit skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

n

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.

n

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine "can-do" attitude.

n
