Good Samaritan Catholic College, located in Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast, is a Prep to Year 12 institution that opened in 2019. The College has steadily grown and now accommodates approximately 1500 students. The first cohort of seniors graduated in 2024.

- Cashier and banking duties
- Accounts payable (AP)

- Other administrative duties assigned as appropriate

About the prospect
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Cashier and banking duties
- Accounts receivable (AR), including debt collection
- Accounts payable (AP)
- Report preparation
- Other administrative duties assigned as appropriate
- Supervising and training support staff as required.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
- Demonstrated skills in developing and implementing effective financial management processes.
- A good understanding of accounting principles and account reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 suite of applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the College and the initiative to work independently when required.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage empathetically with members of the College community.
- Demonstrated sound judgement, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Tertiary qualification at Diploma level in Finance or related field desirable
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements
Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
