Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Team Leaderto join our Workforce Australia team. In this role, you will lead, support and develop a team of Job Mentors to deliver high-quality employment services and achieve positive employment outcomes for participants.
You will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and guidance to ensure your team meets performance targets while providing a participant-focused, cultural respectful and supportive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate a team of Job Mentors to achieve individual and team KPIs.
- Monitor team performance,
caseloads, appointments, participation and employment outcomes.
- Support staff to provide high-quality and personalised services to Workforce Australia participants.
- Provide regular coaching, feedback and performance support to team members.
- Ensure staff understand and comply with Workforce Australia requirements, policies and procedures.
- Monitor documentation, compliance and data quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve team performance and service delivery.
- Support Job Mentors with complex participant situations and provide guidance where required.
- Build strong relationships with employers, community organisations and other stakeholders.
- Encourage effective employer engagement and job placement opportunities for participants.
- Conduct team meetings, case reviews and performance discussions.
- Identify staff training and development needs and support ongoing professional development.

- Experience leading or supervising a team, preferably within Employment Services.
- Strong knowledge of Workforce Australia requirements and employment services practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to coach, motivate and develop employees.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Experience working towards KPIs and performance targets.
- Robust attention to detail and understanding of compliance requirements.
- The ability to manage challenging situations and support staff with complex matters.
- A commitment to providing respectful, inclusive and participant-focused services.
- The ability to build positive relationships with employers, participants and stakeholders.
- Must pass and have a current Police Check (ongoing requirement for employment)
- Must pass and have a current Working with Children Check and/or Vulnerable Persons Check (ongoing requirement for employment)
