The Opportunity

The Executive Assistant to the CEO plays a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Leadership Team through proactive, organised and confidential executive coordination. The role manages complex calendars, prepares high‑quality documents and reports, coordinates communications, and acts as a key liaison between the CEO, internal teams and external stakeholders.

This position is central to ensuring seamless executive operations, supporting strategic initiatives, and maintaining ARV’s reputation for professionalism and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

- Manage the CEO’s calendar, coordinating complex appointments, meetings and events.
- Provide executive and administrative support including preparing documents, reports, agendas and minutes.
- Lead the preparation and distribution of high‑quality reports, presentations and correspondence.
- Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO, maintaining confidentiality.
- Support the ARV Board and subcommittees, including logistics, communications and travel coordination.
- Liaise with ARV teams, resort staff and external partners to support strategic and operational initiatives.
- Monitor and reconcile budgets and expenses for the CEO’s office, supporting procurement processes.
- Identify and implement improvements to administrative systems and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records in line with ARV’s information security and privacy policies.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

- Qualification in administration, finance, commerce or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in senior administrative support, ideally in public sector, tourism or hospitality.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex schedules, communications and confidential information.
- Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects to deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
- Understanding of financial processes, budget management and procurement.
- Current Victorian Employee Working With Children Check and driver’s licence.

$89,292 – $96,073 + superannuation
