A rare opportunity to join a leading luxury bridal brand in Australia.

We are looking for an exceptional luxury bridal / couture pattern cutter to join our team and play a key role in creating exquisite, highly engineered bridal gowns.

This is a hands-on role for a highly skilled pattern cutter with a refined understanding of couture construction, luxury bridalwear and, in particular, corsetry. You will work closely with our design and production teams to translate beautiful designs into impeccably fitting, technically sophisticated garments.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing patterns from initial design through to final production, with a particular focus on:

- Creating accurate patterns for luxury bridal and couture gowns
- Developing and refining complex silhouettes and intricate constructions
- Strong technical knowledge of corsetry, internal structure and foundation garments
- Draping and pattern development where required
- Conducting fittings and making detailed technical adjustments
- Working with delicate and high-value fabrics, lace, beading and couture embellishment
- Collaborating closely with designers, sample makers and the wider production team
- Ensuring exceptional fit, proportion, construction and finish
- Developing patterns suitable for both one-off couture pieces and luxury production

About You

We are looking for someone with significant professional experience in luxury bridal, couture or high-end womenswear,



ideally with a strong portfolio of technically complex garments.

You will have:

- Outstanding pattern-cutting skills and an exceptional eye for fit
- Strong corsetry and structured garment experience
- A deep understanding of couture construction and garment engineering
- Experience working with complex bridal silhouettes, including fitted bodices, sculpted gowns and structured skirts
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to the highest standards
- The ability to interpret a designer's vision and translate it into technically precise patterns
- A calm, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- Experience working within a luxury or premium fashion environment
- Formal qualifications are valued, but exceptional industry experience and technical ability are equally important.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced specialist to become part of an ambitious luxury bridal house in Australia, working within a creative and highly skilled team.

We are particularly open to applications from UK and EU-based pattern cutters looking to relocate to Australia. Relocation support and visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.
