We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established and highly regarded company in Shepparton. This is a great opportunity to work on industry-leading equipment, within a supportive team, and for a business that genuinely values its people.
About the role
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy diesel equipment, with a strong focus on earthmoving machinery. Experience with agricultural and farming equipment will also be highly regarded.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position offering consistent hours and strong earning potential.
- Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Location: Shepparton

About you
Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic (essential) with experience in earthmoving equipment preferred. Construction, Agricultural or farming equipment experience is highly regarded, along with Australian working rights and previous experience working within the industry in Australia. You will have solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills, and will be reliable, motivated, and safety-focused.
Desired Skills and Experience
Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic or Fitter & Turner with experience servicing, maintaining, diagnosing,
and repairing heavy equipment across earthmoving, construction, manufacturing, agricultural, and farming environments. Skilled in fault-finding, preventative maintenance, hydraulic systems, mechanical repairs, machinery overhauls, and equipment diagnostics, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Experienced working with a broad range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment, performing scheduled maintenance, breakdown repairs, component rebuilds, and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues. Proven ability to minimise downtime, improve equipment performance, and deliver high-quality workmanship in both workshop and field-based settings.
Recognised for strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace health and safety. A reliable and motivated tradesperson who works effectively both independently and as part of a team to support business operations and achieve maintenance objectives.
