Job Description
Jump into this new role for an experienced Yardperson to join the electrical supply industry, supporting the delivery of essential infrastructure. Based in the Tullamarine deport, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials, tools and equipment are available to support field crews carrying out construction and maintenance works on the electrical distribution networks.

What You'll Do
n
n
Coordinate the movement of materials, tools, plant and equipment between depots, suppliers and operational work sites.
n
Operate forklifts and company vehicles to support day-to-day logistics activities.
n
Manage inventory activities including receipting, storage, dispatch, stock takes and material tracking.
n
Maintain safe, organised and productive yard and storage areas.
n
Support operational crews by ensuring materials and equipment are available and ready for deployment.
n

About You
n
n
Forklift Licence (LF)
n
Current Driver's Licence (HR licence highly regarded)
n
Construction White Card
n
Experience in yard, stores,
utilities or construction environments
n
Solid commitment to safety and teamwork
n
Flexibility to work occasional paid overtime and travel regionally, as required
n
n
Desirable
n
n
HR Licence
n
Vehicle Loading Crane (CV/HIAB) Licence
n
SAP or inventory management system experience
n
Utilities, power or infrastructure experience
n
n
This is a physically active role involving manual handling and some outdoor work.
n
Short-listed candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
