Make a Difference in Community Mental Health
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Greater Newcastle Acute Care Team (GN ACT), based at the James Fletcher Hospital campus within the Greater Newcastle Community Mental Health Service.
This permanent full time position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and recovery-oriented team that delivers high-quality, person-centred care on a 7-day rotating roster between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.
About The Service
The Greater Newcastle Community Mental Health Service provides specialist assessment, treatment, care coordination and referral for adults experiencing mental health concerns across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens.
Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based, recovery-oriented care, including crisis intervention, brief treatment, rehabilitation and access to specialist services such as perinatal mental health, youth engagement and eating disorder programs. We work collaboratively with consumers, carers and community partners to achieve positive mental health outcomes.
