The Company

Established in 1989, our expanding local public practice is looking to employ an experienced and ambitious professional. Our low-leverage structure ensures you will receive direct access and mentorship straight from the firm’s Director and Senior Accountants. Our core clientele primarily consists of dynamic enterprises and business groups.

Key Responsibilities

- As our Business Services Accountant, you will manage a diverse portfolio, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, SMSFs, and individuals.
- Preparing BAS, IAS, and managing GST reconciliations.
- Providing business advisory and consulting services focused on tax planning and operational growth.
- Delivering comprehensive client management and support.




- Championing technological updates and innovations to drive internal firm efficiencies.
- Liaising with federal and state regulatory agencies on behalf of our clients.

What You'll Need to Succeed

- Experience: At least three (3) years of hands-on public practice experience covering compliance, taxation, and business advisory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HandiTax, HandiLedger, and BGL, alongside familiarity with major cloud platforms such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
- Soft Skills: Strong decision-making capabilities, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
