Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate P&C; Advisor to join the team at Rydges Sydney Airport, working closely with the GM you will coach leaders, lead ER cases ab=nd build high-performing teams.

- Partner with hotel leaders to build capability in performance management, coaching, feedback and team engagement
- Provide timely, practical advice on employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes and conflict resolution




- Lead ER investigations end to end, keeping documentation and reporting accurate and consistent
- Guide leaders through ER cases to fair, consistent and compliant outcomes, escalating complex matters to the NSW hotels P&C; manager
- Support end-to-end recruitment, helping leaders interview and select great talent
- Own the onboarding experience, driving strong integration, engagement and early retention for new starters
- Design and deliver initiatives that lift engagement and retention, from team awards to team-building activities
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, and support workplace health and safety, injury management and return-to-work processes

What You’ll Bring

- Diploma or degree in human resources or a related field
- 2+ years' experience in a generalist HR role, with exposure to employee relations
- Sound understanding of local employment legislation and HR best practice
- Proven experience coaching and influencing leaders
- Solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships across all levels
- Self-motivated, proactive and solutions-focused
