Phone Screening
Once we’ve identified that you have the relevant skills & experience, we’ll get in touch to have a quick 5-30min chat. This is your chance to tell us briefly about your interest in the role.
Aptitude Testing/Personality Profiling
Don’t let this scare you off. We test for 30-45mins to gain a better insight into your behavioural traits & how they intertwine with the requirements of the role.
Initial Interview
This is your time to shine! It’s likely that you’ll meet for 1-1.5 hours with the Hiring Manager (who’ll be your direct manager) along with one of our Talent Acquisition team.
2nd Interview (If Required)
Depending on the role, we may look to meet up again to discuss your experience, skills & the role further.
Reference Checks
Before we can make an offer, we’ll ask you for at least 2 professional referees. We’ll then chat to them about how great you are.

Burbank is seeking an experiencedSales Estimator to bring precision, insight, and expertise to our dynamic team in our brand new offices located in Eight Mile Plains.
About the Role
This is a high-impact role for an estimator with a solid foundation in residential building and a passion for commercial accuracy. You'll play a pivotal part in shaping our tendering and pricing strategies, working closely with Sales, Design, and Operations to deliver robust, market-aligned costings. Your expertise will help drive smarter decisions, improve margins, and enhance customer satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the preparation of tender documents and variations with clarity and precision
- Develop detailed retail cost estimates, applying strategic margins and markups
- Provide fixed site costs and expert support to Sales teams on pricing queries
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including drafters, engineers, and construction managers
- Interpret architectural and engineering plans to assess buildability and cost impact
- Analyse documentation to accurately estimate materials, labour, and site conditions
- Evaluate design changes and their commercial implications
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiency
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years' experience in residential construction estimating or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge of building practices, terminology, and compliance standards
- Proven ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications
- High-level analytical skills and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in estimating software and Excel; exposure to ERP systems a plus
- A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
