About The Role

The Senior Advisor supports the Office of the Deputy Secretary, Network Design and Integration by providing high-quality policy advice, analysis and coordination to enable informed and timely decision-making. The role works closely with senior leaders, Ministerial offices and teams across the department to deliver strategic priorities.

The position prepares briefings, reports, Cabinet submissions and other key documents, coordinates business planning and reporting, monitors government priorities, and provides administrative and project support. It also delivers clear, practical advice and works collaboratively across the organisation to support effective policy and program outcomes.

- Builds support and influences stakeholders to gain buy‑in, navigate competing priorities and achieve successful outcomes.
- Understands the political and organisational environment, ensuring advice and decisions align with governance, legislation and strategic priorities.

Qualifications And Experience

You’ll bring:

- A relevant tertiary degree or experience in a similar role would be well regarded. (Desired)
