Description
Moorabool Shire Council is a progressive organisation that is experiencing rapid growth and surging development. We offer a perfect blend of picturesque and friendly surrounds where you can enjoy an urban lifestyle in towns like Bacchus Marsh or take advantage of Moorabool’s smaller towns and hamlets, rural open spaces and natural surrounds.
Our focus is on building a healthy, inclusive and connected community; a liveable and thriving environment and an organisation that listens and adapts to the need of our evolving communities.
The Role
We offer an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join our Civil Works team in this full time, fixed term role as Team Leader Roads Network.
What makes it exciting? You’ll take the lead in keeping Moorabool moving by overseeing the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of sealed and unsealed road maintenance works across the Shire. This hands on role will see you managing crews, plant and contractors while ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Balancing time in the field with smart planning and stakeholder engagement, you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable infrastructure, responding to community needs and driving practical improvements that make a visible difference every day.
