This is an opportunity for a Perinatal Psychiatrist to join the Torres and Cape Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service and make a meaningful contribution in the lives of women, infants and families across remote and diverse communities.
Working remotely means practising psychiatry differently. You'll provide specialist assessment, treatment and clinical leadership while building strong relationships with consumers, families, colleagues and community partners, supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Your expertise, skills and dedication will help deliver culturally responsive, recovery-focused care that improves mental health outcomes for women and families throughout the perinatal journey.
You'll work in a supportive environment offering unique professional experiences, cultural connection and opportunities to grow, learn and make a lasting impact.
Perinatal mental health care in Torres and Cape calls for collaboration, adaptability and clinical expertise, allowing you to make a difference during some of life's most significant moments.
We're looking for someone who:
- is experienced in perinatal psychiatry and passionate about improving mental health outcomes for women, infants and families
- is collaborative, culturally responsive and committed to delivering high-quality care across diverse and remote communities
- thrives in a multidisciplinary environment, building strong partnerships and delivering compassionate, culturally safe care
