Senior Project Engineer – Track Construction | Major Rail Project | Regional NSW

This one is pretty specific.

I'm looking for a Senior Project Engineer with genuine track construction experience to join the delivery team on a major rail infrastructure project in regional NSW.

The key word here is construction .

I need someone who has been involved in actually delivering track works on site — ideally with experience across:

- Track construction and delivery
- Track alignment and geometry
- Civil and track interfaces
- RFIs, NCRs and technical assurance

Experience across freight rail or mining rail projects would also be particularly relevant.

The package:

- Regional NSW / FIFO
- Flights provided from major East Coast locations
- Accommodation provided
- Project vehicle access




- 10/4 roster
- Flexibility above this for an exceptional candidate
- Fixed-term project role through to late 2027

There haven't been many opportunities in Australia recently to work on significant new track construction, and this project is approaching an important phase as it transitions from major earthworks into track delivery.
