Harrison McMillan is partnering with a respected accounting and advisory firm to recruit a Senior Accountant with strong taxation and SMSF experience.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with clients, providing high-quality compliance and advisory services while supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing a portfolio of business clients across various industries
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS obligations
- Providing proactive taxation, business, and financial advice
- Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis
- Building and maintaining robust client relationships
- Mentoring and supporting junior accountants
- Identifying opportunities to add value and support client growth





About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- CA or CPA qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience within public practice accounting
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards
- SMSF compliance and reporting experience
- Exposure to or experience in business valuations, business restructuring, family law matters, and estate planning/estate administration engagements
- Experience managing client relationships independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, commercial, and solutions-focused mindset
