The Australian travel market is booming, and Collette is investing in growth.

We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead a Victoria and Tasmania territory and help accelerate our presence in one of Australia’s most exciting travel markets.

This isn’t an account management role. We’re looking for someone who loves identifying opportunity, opening doors, building relationships, and turning conversations into commercial results. You’ll work with travel agency partners across the region, helping them grow their guided travel business while representing a premium, family-owned brand with an outstanding reputation.

Ideally, you’ll be based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

What You’ll Do

Drive Territory Growth

- Identify and convert new business opportunities across Northern Victoria and Tasmania
- Expand sales and market share through travel agency partnerships
- Build strong commercial relationships that deliver long-term value
- Develop territory plans that drive performance and growth
- Partner with the Director of Field Sales ANZ to maximise market opportunities

Inspire and Influence





- Deliver engaging sales presentations, training sessions and events
- Position Collette as the premium choice in guided travel
- Build product knowledge, advocacy and confidence within the trade
- Educate agents on emerging travel trends and opportunities

Own Your Market

- Maintain a strong and visible presence across your territory
- Represent Collette at industry events, trade shows and networking functions
- Activate local marketing initiatives that generate demand
- Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for growth

What Success Looks Like

You are:

- Naturally curious and highly motivated to win current business
- Comfortable prospecting and creating opportunities from scratch
- Resilient, self-driven and commercially minded
- Confident presenting to groups and building rapport one-on-one
- Passionate about relationship building and networking
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing your own territory
- Excited about spending time in market meeting partners face-to-face
- Experience in travel, hospitality, tourism or another relationship-based sales environment will be highly regarded
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight stays, are essential
