Senior Business Services Accountant | Brisbane | $90k–$120k + Super | Advisory Pathway | Hybrid

I'm working with a growing Brisbane public practice firm looking to add a Senior Business Services Accountant to the team.

The role offers a good mix of compliance, client management and advisory work, with a genuine pathway towards Manager.

You'll manage your own portfolio of privately owned SME clients and work closely with experienced Managers and Partners.

The role

- Manage your own portfolio of SME clients
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and BAS
- Assist with tax planning and business advisory
- Deal directly with business owners
- Assist with more complex client matters
- Review work and support junior accountants
- Identify opportunities to provide additional advisory support
- Build and maintain client relationships

About you

- 3+ years' Australian public practice experience




- Solid Business Services and Tax experience
- Experience managing your own client portfolio
- CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
- Confident dealing directly with clients
- Interested in developing further into advisory
- Looking for a pathway towards Manager
