We've got the rocks covered but we're looking for a few more incredible people to join our team at Cracow as an Exploration Field Technician.

n

The Nitty Gritty

n

Reporting to the Field Supervisor you will be responsible for: supporting the day-to-day activities of the exploration team and ensuring targets and scheduled works are completed in set time frames and undertaken respectfully and safely

n

You will work to support, coordinate and ensure completion of:

n

n
- Collection of samples from RC drill rigs, including chip traying, sample dispatch, data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
n
- Core yard processing and cleanliness
n
- Collection of Diamond drill core trays from the drill rigs, drill core mark-up, drill core cutting, sampling, density determination, sample dispatch, geotechnical logging, and data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
n
- Remote fieldwork including soil geochemical surveys, mapping and rock chip sampling, and geophysical surveys.
n
- Assist with earthworks for drill pads and access tracks and also ensure the rehabilitation of surface disturbance areas is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with environmental standards, including maintenance of rehabilitation (rehab) records.

- Help monitor, order and maintain consumables for all mining and exploration drilling and field programmes.
n
- Ensure compliance with environmental and cultural heritage permitting, procedures, and standards.

What You'll Bring

- MR/HR Drivers Licence.
n
- Previous outdoors work experience preferred,
n




- The ability to perform repetitive manual labour activities is essential.
n
- Ability to use digital devices to complete Data Entry (laptop computer and/or digital pads)
n
- Self-discipline, motivation, and regulation.
n
- Robust safety awareness and proactive approach to working safely.
n
- Attention to detail, methodical and thorough in approach.
n
- Team player and good interpersonal skills.
n
- High Risk forklift licence (Highly Regarded)
n
- First Aid certificate (Highly Regarded)
