The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach English and Religious Education across Years 7-12, with the specific teaching allotment determined according to the successful candidate's experience, qualifications and areas of expertise.

For suitably experienced applicants, there may also be an opportunity to be considered for a Faculty or Wellbeing Position of Leadership (POL). Applicants interested in a leadership opportunity are encouraged to indicate this in their application and outline their relevant experience.

The Successful Candidate Will:

- hold current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
n
- be qualified and experienced in teaching English and Religious Education, with the capacity to teach across Years 7-12
n
- demonstrate a strong commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education
n
- have high expectations for student learning, engagement and achievement
n
- build positive relationships with students and demonstrate genuine care for their learning and wellbeing
n
- use effective and engaging teaching practices to support students with a range of abilities and learning needs

- use technology effectively to support teaching, learning, assessment and the monitoring of student growth

- demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional learning and continuous improvement.

Applicants wishing to be considered for a Faculty or Wellbeing POL should also demonstrate relevant leadership experience and the capacity to lead and support colleagues in improving student learning, engagement and/or wellbeing.
