- Clerk Grade 5/6, base salary ($102,936 - $113,579), plus super and annual leave loading

We are recruiting to build a talent pool to fill roles as they arise over the next 12 to 18 months. Opportunities may be Ongoing or Temporary, Full Time or Part Time depending on vacancies at individual locations.

About the role

Supervise a team to meet statutory obligations and deliver high-quality client services. The role oversees resources, leads a small team, and undertakes quasi-judicial and procedural responsibilities.

Promote ethical conduct and high performance to support service excellence and organisational goals.

- Lead and develop registry staff, effectively allocating resources to ensure high-quality service delivery and achievement of operational objectives.
- Implement training, coaching, and procedural improvements to ensure staff remain current with legislative, policy, and procedural changes.
- Provide expert operational advice and reporting to senior management, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, service quality, and client outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives,



contributing to the development and implementation of streamlined and effective work practices.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and high-performing workplace culture that values diversity, wellbeing, ethical conduct, and employee development.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion in registry operations, including the performance of quasi-judicial and procedural functions where delegated as Registrar or Deputy Registrar.

- Communication and Influencing Skills - Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance, training, and operational advice to staff and senior leaders.
- Judgement, Decision-Making and Adaptability - Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, manage competing priorities, adapt to changing legislative and operational requirements, and make informed decisions in complex situations.
