Job Details
Location: Town of Port Hedland, Western Australia, Australia
Contract: Full Time | Permanent Opportunity
Salary: $107,204.10 per annum (inc $20,000 PH Allowance) + 12% Superannuation
Additional Salary Increase: 4.5% base salary increase will apply following the approval and formal registration of the Town's Industrial Agreement.

The Role
The Town is seeking a qualified, experienced Aquatic Duty Manager to join their agile team on a full time, permanent basis.
As Aquatic Duty Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Town of Port Hedland's Aquatic Team to oversee the day to day operations of the South Hedland Aquatic Centre and Gatwick Aquatic Centre. Working in partnership with the Coordinator Aquatic Operations and Aquatic Supervisor, this role will be responsible for operating the Town's facilities in accordance with the Council policy and Department of Health regulations, providing a safe and engaging environment for our guests.

Work Related Requirements
- Operate a Group 1 leisure Facility in accordance with Section 6.2 of the Code of Practice for the Design, Construction, Operations, Management and Maintenance of Aquatic Facilities
- Current RLSSWA Pool Lifeguard accreditation
- LIWA Aquatics Accreditation (Hold or be willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid
- Operate breathing Apparatus qualifications (Hold or be willing to obtain)
- WA Working with Children Card (Hold or be willing to obtain)
- Working Rights in Australia
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- C Class Drivers' Licence

Essential Requirements
- Pool Lifeguard Award
- First Aid Certificate
Desirable Criteria
- Aquatic Technical Operator / Pool Operators Certificate
- Bronze Medallion
- Oxygen Administration
- LIWA Aquatics Accreditation
