We are currently seeking applications for a Manager, Cyber Security Assurance, to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury & Finance for a period of up to 16 months.
Remuneration
ASO7 – Salary Range ($116,089 - $125,490 p.a.).
About the opportunity
Join a team that plays a key role in strengthening cyber security across government services. As the Manager, Cyber Security Assurance, you will help develop, implement and continuously improve cyber security policies, standards, processes and assurance activities. Working across a diverse portfolio of projects and operational activities, you will contribute to the delivery of security initiatives aligned with the SA Government Protective Security Framework (SAPSF) and SA Government Cyber Security Framework (SACSF), while providing security assurance for services delivered by OCIO. This is an opportunity to apply your cyber security expertise in a collaborative environment and make a meaningful contribution to protecting critical government systems and information.
About you
- Lead and shape cyber security assurance activities, driving the ongoing development and improvement of cyber security programs, frameworks and governance across OCIO.
- Partner with a broad range of stakeholders, providing trusted advice and support to help ensure security requirements are embedded throughout project delivery and operational activities.
- Influence cyber security outcomes across government, helping to maintain compliance with established security frameworks, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage third-party cyber risk assurance initiatives, overseeing activities that strengthen visibility of supplier risks and support the protection of government information and services.
- Provide expert cyber security advice and contribute to incident response activities, staying informed of emerging threats and industry developments while supporting effective risk management and decision-making.

Cyber Security and Resilience, in OCIO, sets the state's cyber security agenda and leads SA Government's cyber security efforts by proactively identifying threats, responding to incidents, promoting best practice, and working with SA Government agencies to assist in coordinating, evaluating, and improving cyber security capabilities across government to ensure the security of government’s information and systems.
