Permanent, full time, vacancy for a Corporate Partnerships Team Leader based out of Blackburn, Melbourne with flexible/hybrid working arrangements. Reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will lead and coach a team of Relationship Managers (Corporate Partnerships), ensuring activity is focused on achieving ambitious financial and non-financial targets aligned with our national fundraising strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished fundraiser and people leader to combine hands‑on relationship management with team leadership, driving acquisition, growth and retention across a portfolio of major corporate partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Corporate Partnership Relationship Managers across VIC, TAS, SA, NT and WA
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on income growth, pipeline development and supporter retention
- Set clear KPIs and provide regular coaching, portfolio reviews and performance oversight
- Develop and implement strategic account plans using Moves Management methodologies
- Identify, cultivate, negotiate and secure significant corporate partnerships and gifts
- Build solid relationships with corporate leaders and represent The Salvation Army at strategic engagements
- Partner with internal stakeholders to maximise funding opportunities and deliver transformational impact
- Ensure strong CRM discipline, governance, compliance and fundraising best practice
About You:
- Relevant qualifications and/or substantial experience in fundraising,
together with a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring staff in fundraising, relationship management, sales or a similar environment
- A proven track record of securing significant five- and six-figure gifts or partnerships
- Strong experience engaging, negotiating and networking with corporate partners and senior executives
- Excellent relationship‑building, communication and influencing skills, with high emotional intelligence
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles, standards and best practice within the not-for-profit sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- A professional, collaborative and values‑driven approach, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable results
