Pick Packers with Forklift Licence - Afternoon Shift

We are looking for reliable Pick Packers with Forklift experience to join our warehouse team in Thomastown.

n

This is ongoing pick/pack work in a food distribution warehouse servicing restaurants, hotels, schools and other commercial customers. The role involves picking stock from bin locations using a picking sheet, stacking goods onto a pallet, and moving it with a pallet jack.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SUNDAY TO THURSDAY

n

MUST HAVE FORKLIFT LICENCE AND EXPERIENCE

n

Shift times and pay:

n

Sunday: 4:00pm - 12:00am - $62.93 per hour

n

Monday to Thursday: 4:00pm - 12:00am - $39.16 per hour

n

You must be available to work these 5 days every week.

n

The role includes:

n

Picking and packing customer orders

n

Working with dry, chilled and frozen goods

n

Some lifting involved,



including products up to 25kg

n

Freezer rotation for a couple of hours per week - Jackets provided

n

We are looking for people who are:

n

Reliable and punctual

n

Physically fit for warehouse work

n

Able to read picking sheets and work accurately

n

Good with basic literacy and numeracy

n

A team player who fits in well with others

n

Able to pass a drug and alcohol test, prior to start, and periodically thereafter

n

Looking for a long-term role

n

Previous food pick pack experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability and work ethic matter more.

n
