We are a local point-of-sale (POS) software company and we are looking for a full-time Business Development Specialist to join our Queensland team.

About the Role

n

n
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of QLD merchant accounts, acting as their primary point of contact
n
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across QLD's F&B; and Retail sectors
n
- Conduct onsite sales visits, demos, and consultations with prospective merchants
n
- Install and configure POS hardware and software for new customers onsite
n
- Onboard recent merchants and ensure a smooth go-live experience
n
- Proactively maintain customer relationships to drive retention and upsell opportunities
n
- Handle customer queries and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner
n
- Provide feedback to the product and support teams based on merchant needs
n

Key Competencies

n

n
- Proven sales or account management experience (POS, payments, or SaaS industry highly regarded)
n
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
n
- Comfortable with hands-on technical work (hardware setup/installation)
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
- Ability to work independently and manage own schedule/territory
n
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English
n
- You need to have an Australian driver's licence and your own vehicle
n

Work Location: Queensland (field-based, covering local merchants)
