Technical Business Analyst – Acurity | Superannuation Technology

Join a long-term technology transformation opportunity within a significant superannuation workplace, supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of a core administration platform.

This is a Technical Business Analyst role working closely with business, operations and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, analyse existing processes and translate business needs into practical functional and technical outcomes.

You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technology delivery, with your hands‑on understanding of the Acurity platform being critical to the success of the role.

Who you will be working with:

You will join an established financial services environment supporting a significant superannuation administration platform. Working closely with business, operations, technology and project stakeholders, you will help analyse requirements, understand impacts across the Acurity environment and support the delivery of system enhancements and process improvements.

This is an opportunity for a BA who understands both the superannuation environment and the Acurity platform, rather than someone coming purely from a generalist technology BA background.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Gather, analyse and document business, functional and technical
requirements
- Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify
opportunities for improvement
- Analyse requirements and assess impacts across the Acurity
administration platform
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements,
user stories and acceptance criteria
- Develop and maintain process maps and functional documentation
- Work closely with technology teams to support solution design and delivery
- Support system changes, enhancements and integration initiatives
- Participate in SIT, UAT and regression testing where required
- Investigate defects and work with technical and business stakeholders
through to resolutionSupport implementation activities and ensure solutions meet agreed business
requirements
- Communicate requirements, risks, issues and progress to project stakeholders

We are looking for someone with:

- Strong hands‑on experience with the Acurity superannuation
administration platform
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of superannuation products, processes and
administration
- Experience gathering and documenting business, functional and technical
requirements
- Experience translating requirements into user stories, acceptance
criteria and functional specifications
- Experience working across system enhancements, implementations,
integrations or transformation projects
- Exposure to testing, UAT/SIT and defect management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively across business, operations and technology
teams
